Additional information

Sme.UP have been focusing since the very beginning on their abilities to converge resources, skills and ideas of different operators to a common strategy in order to join trade policy, marketing and application tasks, vertical solutions and technical advice aimed at optimizing information systems and technological infrastructure. Our multi-source strategy is based on:

  • capability to support  the associated firms that many companies of ours have established abroad

 

Sme.UP’s ERP was designed thinking about the Italian situation, most particularly about the peculiarities of small and medium enterprises. Our approach seems to be most effective and high-yelding indeed, especially if you consider the level of inflexibility of other International ERP which are not qualified to face top technology challenges, flexibility and quickness of changes in process management.


SmeUp believe that  problems of information technology  are due to the economic situation of Italian and worldwide markets. We do believe that ICT operators are to be held partially responsible for that. As a matter of fact, most of them base their theory on two principles:
 
  • talking about technology instead of process efficiency
  • inside the enterprise they apply nearly exclusively to information experts without involving people who take decisions and better know both requirements and critical state of the company

We clearly understand that the software supplier must be able to identify, together with the customer, the critical state of processes in order to provide constructive and prompt solutions which are supposed to enable the company to face market challenges.

A rigid and fossilized model as the one offered by big international ERP or by “Templates”  may become, in the long run, a disadvantage, instead of an advantage.

  • partial (by single Modules) or gradual replacement, thanks to the peculiarities of any single application component to other Databases for IBM iSeries
  • replacement of  your management sotfware, perhaps using "step by step" models that Sme.up structure allows
